Sandy is a world-traveling photographer passionate about capturing the essence and authenticity of indigenous people and their cultures. From Namibia’s sand dunes and deserts to the Papua New Guinea’s rainforests and reefs, her work has brought her to all corners of the globe. 

Navigating exotic and unusual places throughout the world has impacted her life in profound ways. She uses her photographs to capture the unique beauty and character of the communities she encounters. Inspired by preserving authenticity and maintaining integrity, Sandy strives to create intimacy with her subjects through her photographs by learning about who they are and how they live. She often takes a Polaroid of the subject to give back to them for their keepsake. 

Through her photographs, she invites us to join her on a journey of discovery as she showcases the beauty and diversity of the world and its people in the hopes of inspiring others. The lines and expressions on their faces reveal the story of their life.
